unless, there are investigations into the Iraq war and other things shoved down the throat of this country. If there are investigations, he may want to get his passport up to date...

Why wouldn't he? His term isn't up til 2008???
Break the country>?? Employmet is at historic lows. The economy is great. Whats gonna break? Just because you and your hippie friends are in a dither because giving people a hug doesn't work doesn't mean things are broke. Yes Iraq ain't perfect, but a no point did bush ever say this would be quick. He said numerous times this would take a long time. These people have been under oppression for 30 years and now people expect miricals in 3 or 4 years?? This country took almost 200 years, a civil war and lots of battles to finnally get things remotely figured out. Things are strained because of the liberal media and clueless Kool aid drinkers like yourself who believe all the drivel they read on left wing sites.

The president is set to leave office in January 2009. That's when he will leave. (What? You think he's going to resign? Ridiculous!).

About this whole polarization business...

The truth is that most countries are highly polarized during wartime. Add to that the fact that immigration is causing some cultural tensions and you have a divided country. Realize that America is not about Democrats and Republicans as much as it is about traditionalists and secularists. The great divide in America is between a majority traditional/religious group and a minority secular/Euro-phile group. Those two worldviews are opposite and cause tensions.

Polarization is nothing new. The Clinton years were the exception, not the rule. We had peace and a good economy. Now we just as the good economy but no peace. Most people in this country are concerned with raising there families--not petty partisan bickering. That's one thing that unites us no matter who we vote for.

ummm...what do you mean, will he stay in office???? Last time I checked, he still had 2 years to go! Did you think he was going to resign? Why in the world would he do so when he thinks he is doing God's work (and, when he thinks he is doing a good job!). And, no, even though the man is a COMPLETE MORON, he will not break our country...we will survive even this foolish man's term. Hopefully at that point, the voting public will be bright enought to put a democrat in the oval office.

And I definitely agree with the other answer that says we need to watch out...there still is one other Bush out there to be feared...Jeb!

I'm sure he will stay in office.

You will notice however that Harriet Meyer has stepped down from her role as his council.

Evidently, she, he or both feel that defending Dubya during the impending Congressional investigations will be more challenging than serving as a Supreme Court Justice.

He will stay in office if he stops it with the signing memoranda and North American Union ideas.

Specter either did or was going to file a suit against Bush for the signing memos, to determine their (un)constitutionality. I don't agree with Spector on all things, but I'm all for that particular move.

We are stuck with him for 2 more years. However, with a Dem congress, he won't be able to do much from now on. He has just about ruined this country.

He won't be impeached even though lying about a BJ is a lot better than lying about a cause for war. Watch out for Jeb! He's the intelligent one.

Could be a lot worse. How soon we forget about Clinton and all of his dirty little deeds.
