Stay away from the guy and try everything possible to make up with your friend. You already know you messed up so if you valued your friendship, try and work things out. It will take a while till she trusts you again if ever, but it's worth a shot.

There is nothing you can do. Chances are you will never be friends again. Maybe next time you have a best friend you will think about your actions and the consequences before you do something like that again.

If you're truly sorry for what you did-then say sorry.
If you don't regret it, then don't say sorry.
Also, PROVE to your friend that you mean it when you say sorry by gaining the friend's trust back.
