height (or any distance) isn't measured in cm sq, only cm.
2.54 cm/in would get you 152.4 cm for this short person.

I noticed that you asked for the height in "centimeters squared" and not "square centimeters"
The second is not a valid question. (But I'm sure that you knew that.) Square centimeters is a unit of area, not height.
The way to find the height in cm sq. is to convert the height to centimeters. That is 152.4 (with no units), and then take the square root. This is approximately 12.35, then add the units (i.e. centimeters.)
Therefore the answer is: (12.35 Squared) cm

First: you are using liner customary units in the first part, but then you change to squared metric units.
Two: This problem cannot be solved ( impossible ) with the provided information. (If there was more usable information in the problen then it could be solved.
Three: Are you asking us all to help you with one problem when a teacher, who should be teaching you this?

Inches do not convert to centimeters squared -- they convert to centimeters.
60 inches is equal to 152.4 centimeters (1.524 meters)
I've provided a link to a web site that does conversions.
