Scenerio:

Mom loses custody of child because of a neglect of a dependent charge. Son becomes a ward of the state. Son is placed in state-approved foster care. Son runs away, mom helps harbor him to a different state. (3 state lines, mind you).

What can she be charged with?

She can definatly be charged with obstruction of justice. If there is a restraining order or something along the lines that she is not allowed to see him, she can be charged for violating that. But in my opinion, she is just being a mom, why punish her?

Alot...aiding and abeiting; I would of turned him over to the authorities so the stay at foster would be definite to him...Could there of been trouble at the foster's domain?
