I'm having a strange problem when using the polygonal lasso tool in Photoshop CS2 version 9.0 on my PC. Basically when I'm making a selection using the tool and click many times to set points along the way it often just breaks off and ends my selection early. When it happens I am nowhere near the point I started with so I don't see how it might accidentally think I intended to end the selection. I should also add that it's not because I am working in a really tight space where the selection lines are close together. This is getting very frustrating for me because it often takes several tries before I can finally finish what I want to do before having it suddenly end on me. I thought maybe it was a bug in the program but when I'm at school working with the same version of Photoshop I never have this problem. Settings for tool are at: 'New Selection' with 0px feather, and anti-alias checked on. Has anyone else experienced the same thing? Any fixs I could try? Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem. To avoid it try to select in more times, that is select a slice and close the selection, then, with SHIFT pressed, add another slice and close and go on till the selection is full.

Try to zoom in the image so you don't need to set a too close points. It often cause a misinterpretation and accidentally ends your selection.
