I really don't mean to disrespect him, but he almost was asking for it... why did he poke crocodiles and swim with sharks and aggravate dangerous animals? He had to know it was coming.

Well, he did advocate for animals rights and all... so, there was a purpose. But he did press his luck and I suppose that's evident now.

Well that's what he loved doing, that was his passion and he knew that it was a dangerous career but he loved what he did and no one could tell him not to do it. He knew doing what he did his life could end any days he even said it numerous times in several interviews. Who are we to judge what he loved to do it's just like telling firefighters well why the hell are you guys going in a burning house and try to put fire out. They love doing what they do they chose that career and they know how risky it is but they love it!

The man died, seriously. You don't question the heart attack victim why he ate so many hamburgers. the race car driver who died in a wreck why he raced cars. The pilot of a plane crash why he flies planes. We all do things that are risks, but we do things we enjoy. The answer to your question is simple he did what he loved to do.

I said the same thing.
Once he crawled under a ledge full of south-west diamond back rattlers. Sure, they WELCOME him coming into his home.

And then there was the transvalian devils. They attacked him when he waked over to their group.

I thought, what a stupid man! Asking for something to hurt him.
Now his daughter is going to repeat his life. Another stupid person.
