quick answer, yes you can keep working out while pregnant and all doctors will actually advise you to do so. Don't push it though and DO NOT TRY TO LOSE WEIGHT while pregnant! It can cause harm to your baby and is very unhealthy and may cause complications and birth defects. Just workout like normal until you feel you no longer can (believe me you'll know), to stay healthy, but just be careful and you and your baby will be perfectly fine! You will continue to GAIN weight during the whole pregancy but if you are keeping yourself healthy you'll only gain a couple pounds a month while the baby is growing. (any doctor will tell you the desired amount you should gain)

Yes but it is only smart to workout while pregnant if you workedout before you pregnant, because it is too much change for you body to handle with the pregnacy and then to start working out it would put you at high risk for a miscarriage. Even if you did workout before you got pregant you still can't do a hard workout make sure it's light because it's still a lot of stress on your body. Hope I helped!! Good Luck!!

dont work out to lose weight, it's just not gonna happen when you are pregnant so except it. Talk to your dr about any work outs you are doing. Moderate excersice in healthy pregnancies is very good for you and baby, things like walking are excellent. You should not do anything strenuous and do not push yourself...when tired, rest. IF you never worked out before getting pregnant, now is not the time to get into shape. Also be careful of your heart rate as it should not go past a certain rate. sorry cant remember the exact rate but it may be around 120.

You can do LOW strenuous workouts. BUt you dont want to raise your heartbeat too high or it will harm the baby. Loosing weight durring pregnancy is never a good idea. Your baby needs that weight and you gained it to protect your baby. Talk to you OB before EVER doing any workout just to be sure your in the safe to do it so you dont end up hurting yourself or your baby

Get Dr's advice. Mine said go for it. do what feels comfortable and ease up in later stages of pregnancy. Workout for your health and to feel good. Say goodbye to the scale since weight gain is necessary (i've been told up to 30 is healthy). Good Luck!

Absolutely! Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, working out is a great way to stay in shape, keep your endorphine leves up, and helps your body fine tune itself for labor. Just remember no weightlifiting. Stick with the aerobic type only. And pay attention to your body. If you feel fatigue, slow it down a bit. And remember to eat when you're hungry. The weight gain comes from many sources, including baby weight, amniotic fluid, and blood stores. Anything beyond that is just fat that you'll have to burn later.

Yes you can work out but you will need to modify your work outs. You might check with your doctor, if you go to a fitness center to workout talk with the trainers there to help you.
