It is quite natural at this age. Practice concentration exercises. suggested: Take a 2 x 2 ft White Chart put (.) dot in the center. Sit in a relaxed mood. Keep the chart on a wall exactly opposite to you Try to search the dot. Try to visualise only that dot. Inititally you see a lot of things. 3 - 5 minutes. Slowly other things began to fade. 5-8 minutes You will start seeing only the chart, not surroundings. 8-13 minutes the dot begins to take in to your eyes. 13-15 minutes you will see the dot perfectly. 15-20 Minutes Only dot is full in your eyes. 20-25 minutes The dot is taking over your mind.
IT ALL happens slowly. Slowly within 15 days these time gaps get reduced. Your brain becomes razor sharp in 30 days of time. Your mental sharpness increases.
45 days! Whola! You grasp every thing you read! You hardly need any concentration. All the while your mind is concentrating on whatever the little is available before your eyes!
TRY THIS!

The same thing happens to me. That's why when I sit down and study I make sure all my needs are statisie. Lets say I want to play on the computer but i start to study and then you don't want to continue to study because you want to play computer. Well i'll full feel my needs by doing what i want for like 5 or 10 minutes. Then i'll study either groups of 1 hour or half hour. After i usually take a break to relieve myself. I find after study for awhile to go play a sport or shoot some baskets help. To relieve stress if you don't think your going to get good on the test. Also it gives you confidentes. Also don't try to study all in one night. I would suggest to study a day or two before the test. Good Luck with your studying!

Don't worry, it's hard for everyone to concentrate

Try changing topics frequently, and if you're actually distracted by the computer or music or other people try going to the town or maybe a university library. It's nice a quiet.

I would also suggest setting time goals for yourself with rewards maybe, or a checklist. All of those things help to get the work done.

First do not think your college as a stupid one. All colleges are good if you have inclination for learning. Concentrate on learning and not only merely MARKS. Percentage you score in examination does not have any relation with learning. Apparently score may be looking as the only measurement for capability, however at the end only learning matters. Also do not look at the interim results - get prepared for the final exam. Also keep in mind what you are learning now, will help you in shaping your future. Do not loose hope at any point of time. Do not take failure as the end of the journey. Take it as a learning point for further journey.

U r facing the same problem as i do, when ought to loose concentration while studing coz of dreams get up and divert ur mind by somthingelse, try to meditate, i.e. just go sit before god erect, close ur eyes n leave ur mind free to think abt anything, as days goes on u will gradually get the ability to control ur mind and thus concentration develops. And one more thing is that u ought loose concentration s that u enjoy dreams rather than ur subject, so develop the habbit to enjoys studing ur subject, u considering it like ur favorite game, n u automatically, coz of ur interset ur concentraion doesnt wander here and there.k.It really works, try it, n u will sucussed. All the best.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you need to be relax while studying. DO you love the subject you are studying? Try to enjoy the subject that you are learning in school. That will help you. Ask many question yourlself about the subject learned, like what if? Why?

It sounds like you are someone who does better learning from hands on projects. Try some different things like playing some good music while studying, take breaks, and change your setting. If it's during class I would doodle my notes. Spice them up. Another thing is try to read out loud when you are alone you will probably retain information better.

Study for a certain time each day. Or you can take breaks in between. This helps me when I study for finals and stuff.
