Tell me the truth please!

I like Dawn and Yvonne. Novaleigh sounds like a country or some kind of facial cream, Makenadi...no. Rakenzi Tessan sounds like a cartoon character or something. Just for future references, names can hurt children in the future. It may sound cute to you and that's o.k. but think about these children being made fun of because of their names or being discriminmated against when they complete a job application (it happens).

I like Novaleigh Dawn, I think it sounds beautiful together. But I don't know if I would ever name a child that, because of being teased, and having problems with teachers pronouncing it and spelling it.

I too like coming up with unique names, but have been told on more then one occasion that it would be cruel and unusual punishment to actually name a child that. My two favorites are Heaven-Leigh Angel, and Sapphire Destiny Spring!

I once heard someone say that you should only name a child something you wouldn't mind having to shout from the porch every day within earshot of other neighbors, when it's time for the child to come home for dinner!
Seriously though, these names will mean years of having to spell them for people. And as far as being different goes, most kids get teased for being different. Not cool in this case.
Hope you have kids someday with names you ALL can enjoy! Besides, it's the person your child is that you will be attached to, not the unusual name.

I really like Novaleigh Dawn (would nearly translate to new light's day), and Rakenzi Tessan (almost sounds like Dutch or Dane) works okay too. Makenadi Yvonne doesn't really sound right..doesn't 'speak' well....make Yvonne into Hiakawa instead...Makenadi Hiakawa would sound okay.

Truthfully, I think you need to think realisticlly. If this was a child, do you think they'd want the name Rakenzi? They would be made fun of. But, there are some suggestions.

~ I like Dawn as a middle name. Very cute and short.
~Instead of Makenadi you could use Makenzi or Kenadi. Those are more common but similar names.
~ And you could name her Tess for a first name instead of Tessan as a middle name.

Good luck =)

Novaleigh Dawn is nice. You could call her Nova. Makenadi isn't too bad..

Novaleigh is nice, but I don't like the others.

I also like unique names, something my children won't have to share with other classmates.

Those are terrible ghetto names. No one will hire someone with a name like that. Use a classic name, one that will look good on job or college application.

It is annoying to other people when they do not know you and they have to make a point to remember your name and how to pronounce it because it is too off the wall.
