Anything I wanted.....most likely I'd pamper myself because I haven't done that in a long time. The other things I want to do will take longer than a day...

Gosh -- I can definitely say what I'd do NOW that I'm an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree (and DO have the entire days to myself -- by the way, I'm Retired Military too) ...
going through the stuff the adult children left behind ... trash, donations, just sorting through the mess ...
Renovating MY HOME so that I can age in place (that means I am pulling the junk that was originally put in the home by the builder (cheap doors, painted mouldings, popcorn ceiling, etc) and replacing it with ACTUAL wood (and I'm staining the stuff myself) mouldings, solid doors, crown mouldings, etc ...
Re-Purposing the rooms for MY Comfort .. MY Office and craft rooms are MOVING DOWNSTAIRS so I don't have to keep going up and down stairs all the time ... After all, this is MY HOME ...
Going BACK to college to learn NEW skills and to learn how to enjoy updated hobbies (am taking a Website Design Class and Digital Photography this semester ... after all, none of these courses were around when I got my original degrees ...)
When I clean the home, do the yardwork, etc .. it STAYS nice and I come home and don't have to see lots of things that are newly broken or filthy or anything else.
LEARNING how to relax ... taking some time to SIT DOWN .. to read, EAT a MEAL .. and just enjoy ...
Working in my WORKSHOP ... building Bookcases, Cabinets, etc.
Just about everything that I always did .. except now .. I don't run around all the time taking teens to Scouts, School Activities, Athletics, Meetings, Social Events, Camps, Doctors, etc etc etc.

I am gonna answer this as if it were the day I got my tax return as well. I would get up early, eat breakfast and catch a little buzz. I would get a friend to drive me and I would Go shopping in Nashville to start the day. I would take 2 xanax and drink a beer, and I would hit a nice cigar shop first. I would buy a good humidor, a good cutter, a special cigar lighter, and a nice cigar ash tray. I would get a box of Puros Indios-pyramid no. 1s to go with it. I would go and buy me new cowboy hat, boots, and some accessories. Then I would buy my son a bunch of clothes. We would both get a nice hair cut too. I would get a manicure and a pedicure myself. I would then go and look for a nice ring for myself. Then head for home and plan on where we are gonna have dinner. I would fire up on of my cigars, drink another beer and have a big smile on my face. Then after dinner back to the house, watch movies, put my son to bed. I watch more movies maybe burn one, and then its off to bed and the real world again tommorrow.

Being I am a mother of 2 boys and a wife of a us soldier, if I got one day where i had no responsibilities I truely would just go and pamper myself. I would soak in the bathtub and enjoy the peace and quiet of noone yelling at me for something that they need and cant do themselves. I would sit down and enjoy a actual meal that isnt rushed thru becouse I have a million things to do for everyone else!!

Spend the whole sodding day either in bed or behind the computer. And i might catch up on some paperwork and have a nap inbetween.

Plead for sex if she was there.
I would make my eggs and grits

. read or watch tv.

relax, maybe a nap. lie on the bed and dream of things to come and plead soem meore:)

If I had the money, I would probably go shopping, then get something to eat at a nice restauran. Go to the movie afterwards.
