It depends on how big or small the cage is and how many hampsters you have. Once a week at least.

If the Hamster Sitter can purely clean the cage each and every 10 days ask them in the event that they could exchange the bedding as an entire, because of the fact some people purely clean aspects that appeared grimy. in case you alter the food, water and bedding each and every 10 days, and supply the hamster a dirt sand bath each and every time they visit, it could be advantageous. i might propose cleansing the cage best previously you go away, and supply it a entire scrubbing once you come back! i'm hoping I helped and that i'm hoping you and your hamster are chuffed!

They have little poopoo dropping all over the bottom of their cage. It gets stuck in their tiny little feet if you don't keep that cage clean. I cleaned my Guinea pigs cage every other day.Don't use any harsh cleaners. This can make your little hamster sick.

Change shavings or woodchips about once a week. Use windex on a glass cage and water if one of those play houses.
