You body is probably so used to dancing that it's become used to the routine you do. You need to challenge your body and give it something different to do.

There are plenty of healthy weight loss programs out there, but it sounds like you've covered all your bases already. It sounds as if you're already leading a healthy lifestyle. What you need most is a healthy sense of self esteem. Don't worry too much about how you will look in your costume. I'm sure you will look lovely. Personally, I think a more volumptuous body is beautiful. Look at Alexandra Beller. She's a beautiful and successful dancer with a full figured body. You're healthy in body already. Work on getting a healthy self image.

I really like what
karesprom... said. I reccomend palites. It's great for dancers and for the central tummy area, and it has quick long lasting results.

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk. In addition, pilates increases circulation and helps to sculpt the body and strengthen the body's "core" or "powerhouse" (torso). People who do pilates regularly feel they have better posture, are less prone to injury, and experience better overall health.

I've lost six pounds in a week simply by cutting out cakes and pizza. Maybe you could give something like that a try. Low GI (glycemic index) foods will avoid you getting hungry between meals and they tend to be healthier for you because they contain more fibre and vitamins than high GI foods. http://www.glycemicindex.com

I used to ice skate and my legs would get so big (muscular) from skating that the only way to get them to go down was to stop skating. Some people seem to "bulk up" from exercise while others seem to slim down.
