The American Eagle is cool only if you like going on bumpy, old wooden roller coasters. Riding the Eagle backwards is kind of cool, but for my money, Batman and the Raging Bull are the best. Raging Bull edges out Batman for me. The viper is pretty good too. Although, Great America is not what it once was. I still take my kids, but the security and cleanliness of the park is going down hill. I only live an hour from the park, but I would rather save up for a trip to Cedar Point or Disney, which we are doing over Easter.

The eagle is ok but once you go to Orlando and ride some of those rides down there you realize the Eagle is old. The best at Great America is Batman. It is so quick and moves so fast and smooth it is great. The 2nd choice would be Raging Bull which has a great first drop. Some poor girl died on it when she choked on a piece of gum I believe.

Raging Bull. According to the Great America website, it is the tallest, fastest, and longest ride in the park, with a lengthy ride duration of 2 and a half minutes. It has a great first drop with lap restraints that make it fun to throw your hands in the air. Basically, it is everything that people love about the American Eagle, only you don't feel like the ride is going to break apart any minute now!

the strong rides are: a million. the raging bull 2. vertical speed 3. superman the merely good flight 4. the great drop (dont understand if its operating or not...it wasnt on monday) 5. batman 6. american eagle dont do the darkish knight cuz its dull as heck and the line is great lengthy.... the look ahead to superman is many times like 2 hours so i might want to signify you try this experience first even as the park opens( a lot less human beings) its good by the front easily. If youre courageous sufficient you should do the daredevil dive (interesting experience) i imagine the experience king chaos is interesting too... thats about each of the rides that i in my opinion like yet for sure there are a approach of further there......

It is the American Eagle; I've lived in the area since before it was built, so unless they've changed the name recently, it's the American Eagle.

Jesus, Great America sucks. I used to make my way from Milwaukee to Gurnee a couple time a year for close to 10 years to go to that hell-hole of a park. 2 years ago I went once and last year not-at-all.

Get some friends, some gas, a couple hundred bucks each and make a road trip to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. Don't waste your time and money at Six Fags Not-So-Great America.
