Lately I've been very tired and sometimes I wish that I wasn't alive anymore, I just don't know how to have fun I guess. Am I depressed?

I wouldn't say you're depressed, seems like you're in a rut and a bit down on yourself. Everyone at some point in their life, feel that way for one reason or another. Being overly tired takes a toll in every way to the point where nothing looks good nor interesting. Take a break away from whatever it is you're doing to over exert yourself. A break can be anything at all - no matter how small. Then slowly start making that break (a walk, a movie, coffee with friends .... anything) a part of your routine. Don't ever wish you were not alive, life is wonderful.. God bless

It sounds like you are depressed. How long have you been feeling this way? Does it disrupt your life? It sounds like it is since you are not having fun. You could have mild depression or more, but it is super treatable. I think you should talk to a doctor or someone who can help you reverse your depression so you can enjoy things. You sound overwelmed, which can make people feel like they don't want to be alive anymore. That will go away with the depression because you will have more energy to do things, so you won't feel overwelmed. If you wished you were dead or if you start to think in those terms that is very serious. I beg you to contact someone/anyone and keep in touch with them. You cannot allow yourself to fall into that pond because it can be deep.

I hope you find your energy and sense of fun in life again. You deserve that.

My opinion is that you are at a point of depression. You may have depression but it might just be temporary, come and go. On the other hand, if you feel like you can't live anymore then you are probably in depression, this can be very painful and hurtful at times. You should try to cheer up have a laugh. I have found out that talking to your best friends is the best things to do when you are depressed.

sounds about right. First step is to recognize it, and reach out for help next. You have already made a couple steps, so now just keep putting one foot in fron t of the other and get to the phone to make an appt w a doctor to further evaluate. Medical problems should be looked at together with the feeelings part. Good luck

Of course you are. There are as many depressive realities as there are individuals to be depressed. It is so much easier if you know and can identify depression in yourself. You can also overcome it and if you want to avoid it learn what it is and what are triggering this conduct and thus be aware and be able to do something about it.
