I'm 4 months pregnant and today I have been experiencing mild abdominal aches on the right side, just below my belly button. It almost feels like a throbing. The cramps usually last about a second and some times I feel them every few minutes, some times it's every few hours. This usually happens while I'm sitting. Is this normal? I don't have any bleeding or any other symptoms.

this sounds like round ligament pains..it is in the lower right part of your abdomen ..and it is a dull but aggravating pain..and yes it happens when u sit and alot when you walk too..you usually get this about 14-16 weeks..but it varies between everyone .i had mine at 13 weeks..this is your uterus pushing to the right side to make room for the baby..good luck..and it shouldnt last much longer.congrats

I have two children and I had light cramping throughout both of the pregnancies. Your uterus is stretching and growing, so it's natural that you are experiencing theses types of pains. If the pains become sharp and are combined with any bleeding call you OB/GYN immediately. You also may be experiencing Braxton-Hicks contractions, which are sort of like practice ones. Good advice is to lie on your left side, if the pains don't stop with in a 10-15 minutes or so, you may want to call your OB/GYN or Midwife for advice.

Pregnancy growing pains. Its just enough to be annoying. I started having them about 4 months. I'm starting 6 months now and they have eased up but still bother me some.

Have you felt the baby move yet? I remember sometimes it would hurt like that when the baby would kick or punch.
