I know some people love the weather in Seattle. Personally I hate it.... I hate being cold, having to deal with rain, and the gray cloud-covering we have from October-July. When it is sunny and warm here it's a beautiful place to be... when it's not, it's just kind of depressing.

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and lived their for 33 years, I finally got tired of the nine months of rain that is up there and me and my husband have left that area and moved to Texas. So no I do not like the depressing weather there and love the Sun alot better. I do miss the snowy mountains though and having hills, Texas is all flat, with no hills anywhere.

You again. The weather in Seattle can get to you, but you learn how to keep a raincoat. When it is pretty up here, it is really pretty. There is wind and rain and sun and a little snow. I work outside, so sometimes I get tired of wind and rain, but there are a lot of days that are wonderful.

I don't mind the weather. In fact, I love the storms and the rain, and it's never gotten to me. Of course, I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and have lived in various areas of it for nearly 50 years now. I know that people who are not accustomed to the grey skies so much of the year have a harder time with it.

I do, and I love it! The rain feels so cozy to me. You get to wear sweaters and fuzzy jackets almost all year... and it sounds so pretty on the roof! It's not just rain, either - half of the days in fall are foggy, which is beautiful.
Plus, I know everybody makes a big fuss about the rain... and it IS true, from September to about May. But the summer is glorious! Sunny weather, temperature around 80, and usually (unless there's a drought) just enough rain to keep everything green.

I like the weather from April to October, but don't tell the Californians.

I have lived here for 44 years and although it is a beautiful state, I HATE living here.. I am so sick of the rain, especially this year...If you like many dark dreary days you might like it...

I need to move where there are real seasons, and summers longer than a month!
