It not how fast you go its how quickly you can get to 70 miles an hour. I love my very fast car don't let 'em take that away. Top speed only on the road racing track Eagle Canyon or Motor Sports Ranch or track near you. Something about high speed and Car Control everyone should experence. Get's my heart started!

Its an addiction there is no such thing as a car too fast, just like being too rich or a girl too pretty. No such thing.
I sometimes go very fast, I live near the country where there a many places to go fast an only indanger myself. I am careful though and have the maturity now to not push it to far.
The endorphins you get when you go fast are better than any drug, or at least that I would dare try.

R U that naive? People drive realistic speeds regardless of what Big Brother says is correct. I have been on many of interstate highways where the flow of traffic is doing 80 / 85 mph or more.

Most of the time I use all of the power in my car to get to highway speed (which I say is about 70). I hit that in almost second gear, third if I want to blow some people away.

It's because your not allowed to go fast thats why they do and have fast cars to do it with, the roads around here are posted at 45 i go 100 .(and my cars not that fast)Limits have nothing to do with it .

Uhh people dont always follow the rules.
Just because the speed limit says 70 that doesn mean you cant go 120

I'm putting a 450HP 302 into my Ranger, pretty much in simple terms I'm turning my Ranger into a Mustang, I'm just doing it for fun to take to Race City Speedway.

I know, I wonder that too, people brag how fast and how much horsepower..... but when you get on the highway its 55, or 65 mph.... I guess its the thrill and knowing you have that power and speed!!! We all love power and speed, you know you cant deny it!!

In many cases it's a mid life crises in progress. Or, in some cases people think it makes them look cool. Good question though, I have pondered it myself many times.
