It's what they do. A stage of life. Best to tolerate it and hope that he has to do the same one day.

You could bend his ear, or beat him with pasta noodle. Or, you could be genial and maybe remind him you did the same things when you were young. If you want to caution from there, using your experiences, then that would do more good if you have any concerns.
The younger we are, the more we hate being fussed at. In my clubbing days I would have been much more likely to listen to wisdom shared, rather than ar*sed up diatribe.

he's 19 and he crashed on YOUR sofa? In YOUR house? Under YOUR roof? Is he drunk? I assume he is if he was out clubbing. Is it legal for a 19 year old to drink alchohol? If the answer is no, then you should bend his ear tomorrow morning when he's hungover.

If he's only there for a few days then let the poor lad chill out, it is the weekend after all, You'd probably worry if he stayed in and moped around the house at his age

You have to let him learn from his mistakes. You grew past those days and he will do. Just make sure he knows that eventually he needs to grow up. But for now, just let him have a good time, as long as he doesn't get caught. If he is ever arrested, then let him have it.

Well, understanding is great - but it is your house. If house rules state he has to come in earlier so as not to disturb you and your family, he needs to respect that.

Bending his ear won't help, but hopefully talking to him like an adult - will. He can always rent a room, like any other adult!

Yes but you have changed and don't do what you used to. If he has offended you you should tell him in a reasonable manner even mentioning your own 'wildness' to soften the rebuke. :-)
