You have to do this in 2 steps.
first you have to go on the personal massage and out the tick in the box of show what im listening to
second you have to open windown media player go on to Tools and then Plug-ins and then put a tick beside Windown Live Massenger Music Plug-ins
Choose a song to play ....
and hopefully that'll work.

on the messenger page go to tools then options then in personal select "show song information from windows media player as a personal message" save changes and your all done

click on the arrow next to your personal message on the screen where u have all your contacts up and then click on "turn on what im listening to"
