I'm trying to find this friend of mine who lives in Delhi, I have had no contact with this person in the last seven years.. But I just really need to get in touch with this person. Can anyone guide me on how to go on about it?.. I have searched on orkut, have tried looking up for numbers.. I know where they live, but don't have the exact address.. any suggestions?

Well that is a tricky question and I know the difficulty in tracking people down. Or do I just say Been there tried that?? Can't really say done that as the success rate was not too good.
In the US for instance if you were willing ot pay some money you might gain access to not only their telephone number and address but also criminal records. But in India things are not so well connected.
However what you could do if you had this persons last and first name and at least a vague idea of where in Delhi he might be , you could try with the on-line telephone directory search (and hope like hell he is a BSNL user)
Put out an add in the newspaper with a hefty reward for anyone who seeks and produces him/her :)
Ask other common friends you may have of his/her whereabouts.
Good luck and when you get really good at tracking you can even start a detective agency of your own

U can jus advertise ur frnds picture on d newspaper n ur frn might find it n contact u.That's d only thing u can do i suppose!!

try to broadcast thru radio or tv,u can also advertise on the local newspapers by hook n by crook.
