each persons BIOS is different try looking at the bottom of your screen right as your computer turns on. You might have to restart several times because it only flashes it usually. My computer when you just turn it on and before it starts windows you press F10 but your computer should say at the bottom of the screen "To enter BIOS settings press ***" but try F10 thats what I do.

The industry standard is to hold the delete key down while the computer is powering up. Compaq and some other companies think that they are too good to use the industry standard. You can try the home key or F12 or F2 or F1 with any non-standard ones. Sometimes that works. If not, try the manual, it should say.
Be careful in the BIOS, a wrong setting just might make the computer not boot up. I have even seen some that wouldn't come up without professional help.

When you boot up your computer... look at the bottom of your screen... it will tell you what key to press to enter setup.
It is usually F2
Your Bios should detect your display adapter automatically.

It depends on your computer model. Some require hitting the DEL key others F2, still others CTRL+ALT+ESC. DEL is the most common unless you have a Dell, then F2.

Do a restart - while screen is black and after you hear the POST beep - keep tapping the F2 or delete key is the most likely way.
