OK, so I know this girl who was friends (kinda) with one of my friends, and we all like hang out together sometimes, but I didn't really know her or this other girl, who is annoying and abusive. Let's call them L and S. So me and my friends started kinda not always hanging out with them cos we didn't know them that well, and they got all mad and started threatening us cos they were afraid to lose us cos, to be god-honest, they are the saddest bunch of nerds I have ever seen, due to their personalities, I'm sure that we are the only ones who could even put up with them. They continued to threaten us, insult us and our families, and in general make our lives hell. The one girl, S, told me that I was a b*tch and that she never wanted to see me again, but then tried to be my best friend the next day. L is an overprotected dork and thretened to go to the school counselor and get all of our parents involved, but we r too old for that, and that would ruin our lives. Help???

And I have finals next week, this has been going on for at least two weeks, it really started over a month ago, I don't need the stress right now. Also, don't give me a speech on 'mean girls' cos that's NOT the case here, they are threatening/abusing us to make us their friends.

How would getting the parents involved ruin your lives? might ruin your reputation but not your lives.
The way I see it, if L and S are the ones causing all the problems and L is the one who wants to get the councelor and parents involved, seems to me like all the facts would come out and the adults would realize that L and S are the ones causing the problems.
they can only make your lives hell if you let them. Let them threaten you. What are threats gonna do? Threats are nothing but a bunch of words. Insult your family? So what! Again, nothing but a bunch of words. Ever heard the saying "Sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me?"
If you've truly done nothing to these girls but ignore them and quit hanging out with them, you've got nothing to lose. Every time they threaten you and your friends, report them. Yes I realize this is probably classified as "tattling" but so what. It's one way you can get back at them 'legally'. With so many kids shooting up schools these days i sure wouldn't take any threats of violence lightly and I doubt that your school would either. And even if you were doing more than just ignoring them, unless you have threatened them with violence there's really nothing a councelor is going to do. It is your word against theirs. But the same goes for them threatening you. If u did report it, once again, it is your word against theirs.
You could beat them in their own game and go to your parents about it. Or if you don't feel comfortable doing this, you could go to a trusted teacher or councelor.
Or you and your friends could gang up on them the old fashioned way, beat the crap out of them (off school grounds of course) and tell them unless they want more of it, they better cool their crap. And hope no one see's it and calls the cops.

Wow. That's alot of drama. Let the counselor handle it. They have good judgement and wont call anyones parents if there is no need. They are only mediators If someone threatened that the counselor would call your parents they are lieing. And if your councelors do call parents for every situation, then they should not be a counselor in the first place. Counselors only call parents if a life is threatened and if those two have been life threatening then theiir parents will be called first. They would only call yours to let them know of the treat on you.

Can we yell at you when we don't feel like answering your questions? No, she has no good reason to be mad, she's most likely a very insecure young woman. Take a look around and you'll probably find more. Learn to live with it, because it may take her quite some time before she is mature and secure enough to choose her own friends. How's that for an answer?

probably because eguys are so stupid when something is wrong they dont realize it because they r so self centered and so lame. thats why girls dont get cuaght when they cheat lmao cause they think with their brains!!!! girl never get mad for no reason tehre is always a reason but guys are to lame to know that. another thing could be that the girl is cheating or that she wants u to break up with her. or if she is just a friend than she probably think u r an annoying person so everytime she sees u she is mad! there u go!! hope it helped!! kisses!

Sounds like they are bullying you. Seek out help. You will need an adult to help you with this like the principal of your school. Get your parents involved. Don't take any chances. Too many kids have been hurt or worse over situations like this. Swallow your pride and talk to your parents. That is what parents are for, to protect you and keep you safe! Trust them...good luck!

As sissy as it sound you need to talk to you parents and ask them their advice in this situation. Either way it needs to be taken care of Cause you can't live your life in hell and worry all the time about what these girls are going to do or say. Take care and best of wishes

I would tell them that you dont want to be your friends and that they dont need to get a counselor involved b.c you have the right to be friends with whom ever you want to.. stand up for your self...

Why do you put up with that mess? Why do you allow it? Just leave them alone. Try to say that your very busy, and if it gets worse, let your mom know. You know- kids are cruel. They may stop if you don't show them interest.
