I read the questions and see if it's in my ability to help that someone who ask the question. Then I answer maybe according to some personal experiences or with my common sense.

Little voices in my head :-)
In the areas I feel a certain competancy in, it's a way to reinforce and remember and sometimes even expand things I have already learned.
Sometimes its a way to express my weird sense of humour, have fun with wordplay or wax slightly poetic.
And once in a while, I feel that my experiences may actually help someone else going through a similar experience.
Lots of different reasons....
