My sister in law, Gwenevieve, is raising her husband's sister's neice. Hubby's sister died a while back. Gwenevieve has notived that Alexa has been getting a little too close to her boyfriend, Jacob and noticed that they are spending more and more time with the door closed in Alexa's room. Lately Gwenevieve says that Alexa has not been buying tampons for the past 3.5 months. Is she pregnant? Alexa just turned 14 in November.

THey allow Alexa to have her door shut because they have a snoopy 12 year old son who often reads her diary if the door is left open. However, it can only be closed for 30 minutes at a time. I find 30 minutes a long enough time to engage in sex. And no, Jacob is the same age.

Alexa goes to gymnastics everyday for 3 hours and has been doing it since age 5. I doubt she switched to pads.

A 14-year old girl should not be spending time with a young man in her room with the door closed. Alexa's guardian should start asking her questions about what's going on, and insist that the door to her room remain open at all times. The only way to tell if Alexa is pregnant is to make her use a pregnancy test and/or get her to a doctor.

Wondering if shes pregnant?.... How about wondering where the adults in the house are, when shes in her room with a teenage boy and the door is closed? Are you dead serious? My father would have kicked my *** for that when i was 14. Secondly, Whoever is her gaurdian should be paying extra attention to her. Just because its not technically their kid, doesnt mean you should'nt have control over her, since Alexa the 14 yr old girl is living in their house under their roof, as adults they should make it a point to know what she is doing when her door is closed.

She should sit down with Alexia and calmly bring up her concern about everything. She might want to buy a pregnancy test just in case Alexia wants to take one. If nothing else it's a good time to have a sex talk anyways and see if she is having sex or thinking about it; then they could go to the doctor together and put here on birth control. The only problem is at the age girls have a tendency to over react about everything. As for the tampons she might have had extras from previous boxes or have the box in her locker at school. At that age, her period is still irregular and probably very light. Have your sister in law ask her if she has had sex. They should have a good enough relationship. She should also not let Jacob and Alexa in the bedroom alone.

how do u know for sure she hasn't been buying tampons? also, sometimes if someone is highly unhealthy they will miss multiple cycles, i knew a girl who missed for 6 months just because of her diet....has alexa been getting bigger or emotional? any throwing up, or nausea? odd cravings? does she have a different jean size? also, your sister in law, must have married your brother, so her husband would be your brother, right? which would make alexa your niece? why didn't u just say that?

go to the drug store and get an E. P. T. test It will let you know within 5 minutes if she is pregnant or not. either way you need to take her to planned parenthood or to your personal doctor. she needs to be checked out. If she isn't pregnant, she needs to be put on birth control. she doesn't need to be in her bedroom with a boy with the door closed. not even for 5 minutes. if you are married you should know that you can have sex and be through in 1 minute! (pending on your mate) have you ever heard of a quickie!

Yes, she could be pregnant or if she is athletic or has a hormonal imbalance, she could be missing her cycles. Why doesn't someone ask her what is going on? Have her take a pregnancy test if she is missing her cycles or see the doctor. Make sure she isn't in her room with a boy with the door shut. Quickie anyone?

we don't know if alexa is pregnant, it should deff. be a concern becuase if it's anything like the relationship my boyfriend and i had when we were that old, we were having sex or doing something pretty close to it...
why does gwenevieve let her have the door shut anyway, my parents still have a problem with that

Do not go hard on her! It will only make the problem get worst! Just cally ask her. If she is, just have your sister-in-law tell her that she will support her. It is hard when you don't have a real mom to talk to. Just don't take away her privacy. Let her have her privacy. She needs her privacy. Just try to get her to keep her baby so she can suffer the consequences. Then you will know that she will NEVER do it again. After that, she will know she made a mistake. Please, though, just don't get hard on her.

Well may be shes feeling like shes missing something not to insult anyone o but have ya''ll asked her any type of question about how does she feel about her life ? or maybe she could just be fast hopefully not I think talking is the best way to get things out of people but in a jolly way you know send someone you know Could act like their on her level and act like things are cool if she lets up and tells how things really are the best way is to make someone feel comfortable when their speaking to you like things are safe don't down the mood or anything sometime even say about you things in your child hood that you did that you didn't wanna tell anyone could help her loosen up .. but maybe she really just likes pads now..
