I'm buying an epiphone les paul special ll, and I wanted to know if I can use my fender amp (frontman), or should I get a different one. I only want to know if I can get a good sound off of my amp, if its gonna sound absolutely dreadfull, ill buy a new one.

also dont say les paul specials are crap, there better than squier strats...

personally, i'd go for a marshall amp. my x guitarist has a marshall half stack and a Les Paul Standard, and it sounds quite nice.
but i'm kinda partial to ampeg, cuz i play bass

I have a Epi Les Paul, and a Fender Strat, both are excellant guitars.
As far as your amp, you can't go wrong with Fender, and actually, a Les Paul will sound good with just about any amp.

that is a good one for jazz and such. but if you are a rocker, get a mesa boogie. they are really powerful and can really take a beating. some sob stole mine. while i was searchinh cars in the parking lot another sob got my eric clapton strat! so the lesson is no matter what you use the biggest problem is hanging on to your stuff.
