This guy thinks he knows everything. Most of the time he is lying and making up things. He makes very general statements that are untrue,he gives advice about things he knows nothing about, not to mention no one never askd for his adivce. This guy can't think for himself if his life depended on it. He brags about paying $1000 for suites(he's a doorman that makes $13.00 per hr),he talks about how he does not "need this job" but yet he works 2 jobs and he's always looking to work overtime. Once a unit owner in the builder stated she was going to give him a $20 tip for something he did for her, mind you this guy gets off @ 3pm, he sat around for 2 1/2 hours waiting for $20. this guy is getting on my last nerves. I want to have a talk with him,but I am afraid because he is so stupid(and a horrible listener) he won't get it.Oh, I forgot to add he is also a "minister". Can anyone help??

I guess there's not too much you can say or do without be offensive. It's hard to imagine a minister being this way. Maybe he has a problem that has not been determined. I would try my best to ignore him if he gets on your nerves that bad. If you approach him with his fallacies or whatever they may be called, it may provoke an even worse situation. Maybe the best way to approach him in a more positive way would be to tell him that people would like him more if he would try to be friends instead of bragging so much. Tell him that he is pushing people away by his attitude. It's truthful but not too blunt. Sit down and think about how to approach him without hurting his feelings. Who knows, he might appreciate the advice and the two of you may become close friends. Good luck.

He's gone 32 years being clueless. Your comments aren't going to change him in any way. Save your breath and the pain of an awkward confrontation. Find a way to deal with his presence around you, get a transfer, or find a different job if it is unbearable.

Anytime this guy begins his load of bullsh*t, all you need to do is tell him that you arent wearing your hip boots today, so he should stop piling it up. If he continues to play dumb then tell him to shut his gob.
