help me if u look in my closet u would never call me goth and if you look at my make up you woulnt eather but every one at school call me goth in a social reject and outcast i like the same music they do with one ectseption i like my chemical romance and when i brougt that cd to school i and i never herd the end of it what is there problem my chemical romacne is punk rock but because of one cd i set alone and cry at lunch every day WHY????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Don't let other people say who you are. They do not have the right to call you something that you aren't,especially if they aren't you or know you personaly. Don't ever catagorize yourself into groups,because your just pretending someone who you aren't,which will cause trouble in the future for you. What you need to do is talk to some people,and get to know them. Once you have friends,you can be comfortable & be who you are,and you won't have to worry about being made fun of. Good Luck-

because kids are cruel. don't ever let anyone make you feel bad about yourself. be proud of who you are. there is nothing wrong with the way you dress, or how you wear your makeup, or even the music you like. everyone is different. just think of how boring it would be if everyone were alike. embrace your individuality, because you're special, and perfect just the way you are. the next time someone calls you Goth, just tell them its better than looking like a clone. and remember there is nothing wrong with what you like to listen to. I love their song "helena" i think that's the name of it. so hey..maybe I'm considered goth too, but then again if that makes us goth then so are a couple million other people all over the world....you're not alone :) hope this helps bring up your spirits sweetie.

My Chemical Romance is nowhere near punk... get that idea out of your head. Don't bring CDs to school unless you want to get labeled.
If you're depressing to be around and bring other people down- or if you whine about everything as much as you are with this question- you're going to get labeled goth or emo, same for liking MCR (even though they're about as emo as they are punk). Stop trying so hard to fit in, and for godsakes, stop crying by yourself at lunch!
I'm sorry for being so harsh. It sounds like you just don't know how to make friends, and try to strike up conversations about commonly-stereotyped bands such as My Chem, and when nobody accepts you right away, you sit alone and cry everyday.
Use your people skills. Find people with your interests. Stop crying. Stop showing off your CDs. And STOP listening to what people think of you!

MCR is popular! What hick place r u living in!!!! I have the same problem, I brought Sonic Youth 2 school, and everyone thinks my taste sucks, but they're all dumbasses anyway! Sonic Youth kicks ***! Just like Primus! Besides, fitting in doesn't matter. When you become successful and they become bums, you can be owner of an awesome buisness and start pissing on those people.

Well sorry to hear the bad news, but im sure its not the cd that makes you seem gothic(although it is very screamy and loud) you just didnt make a good impression at the beginning so ppl need somehting to call you b/c you're mostly alone. STAY AWAY FROM BLACK NAIL POLISH AND ALL BLACK CLOTHES!!

The people at school do that to me too. Just because I listen to Green Day doesn't mean that I'm punk. Don't listen to them and be who you want to be. Their just posers.
