I am about to finish a scarf, but now I have noticed a dropped stitch in the middle. Does anyone know if this scarf can be salvaged?

You can use a yarn needle and a length of yarn to weave through several stitches before the dropped stitch, pick up and weave the dropped stitch, and then weave through several more stitches after it, then clip the ends. If you use a crochet hook to bring it up to the bind off you do need to be careful to match the knitting patterns, which may not be possible, and you may find that there is a tight spot where there is not enough yarn for the new stitches above it and it will show.
