I close it and within a few minutes it opens on its own. What causes this? Does the hinge need to be replaced?

You either have a warped door or your hinge needs to be adjusted. If it has magnets you may just have to move the hinge. It may just need to be moved anyway. If not then you can replace it and that will tell you. Ask a handy man you must know one in the family or a friend. Most men can tell by looking at it.

Either the cabinet is not level, or the door hinge needs adjustment.

Someone probably hung on it and bent the hinge. Maybe your plumbing is behind it and each time a door in the home opens a draft pulls through the hole in the wall pushing it open?

the door is not a jar. just being silly. my cabinets do that too. mine have little magnets in them that need to be tightened every once in a while. check the hinges, maybe you just need to tighten the screws
