I dont think it would make a perfect world but I think it would make the world alot happier, I know personally giving something everything I got gives me satisfaction.

As far as it being a perfect world, I doubt it, the world will never be perfect, because some people put their effort into "evil" and some into "good" and I think the extra effort in th evil would cancel out with the extra effort into the good and we would be right back where we are now.

I'm obviously not any sort of expert or anything, those are just my thoughts

No it wont. Everyone has desires, actions and even thoughts that are conflicting with someone else's. What you think is best may not produce the best results.. so if you act according to what you think is best, it may still result to not-so-good situations which other people may act upon. Try reading THE GAME THEORY, some books by Habermas and some articles about the Nash Equilibrium.

No, it wouldn't make the world a better place. Think about it. If everyone tried their best...What if someone wants to rob a bank or kill someone. So they try their best. You didn't think about that when you asked your question.

Besides just because everyone is trying thier best...it's not really going to change much. I'm trying my best in life right now. But its not that spectacular. Most people are already trying their best right now.

It depends on each individual -whatever their best was. Hitler was really good at killing Jews. Other people are really good at putting other people down. The people that are making changes are probably already doing their best. I think in the future, you'd have to do your best to survive. Some people aren't good at doing anything.
