you either want to get involved in the local community theater or go to a school. there are a couple of performing arts magnet schools... one is called tara i think, or if you are college age just go to one of the colleges, the obvious choice being LSU.

in louisiana, for the most part, the best teacher is doing it.

Call the colleges and universities near Baton Rouge. Ask for the Theatre Department and ask for referrals for Acting Teachers near where you live.
