Any soft cheeses like feta or Brie a baby should not eat, could be problems with the cheese containing a dangerous bacteria

it will cause nasty diarreah!!! and possible belly aches.

Second the baby shouldnt eat cheese until they are atleast 10 months old. the baby needs to first learn how to chew and push the chewed food back into their throat to swallow.
So i would say no way to early.

I don't think any babies under the age of 1 should be given cheese and especially NOT at the age of 5 months...

dairy products are bad for any child under the age of 1. The digestive tract isnt strong enought to handle dairy. And cheese will make the baby very constipated which is no good.

You should wait until at least 9-10 months old to introduce dairy products like cheese and yogurt because their digestive system is not ready for it before then. And milk should wait until 12 months.

Yes, I love cheese, but they're just not built for that yet. You can give the baby string cheese, but just be careful.

Cheese is made from milk and milk is not good for babies under 12 months, their stomaches are not ready to digest it.

a 5 month old baby should not have milk it will cause a type of anemia...cheese should be given when nearly a year because of their immature digestive systems are just not ready for that type of protein. check out babycenter.com for more on what ages certain foods should be given.

Babies aren't supposed to have anything but formula before 6 months old. Then they're only supposed to have stage 1 or stage 2 baby food.

That is way too young for cheese. Babies cannot handle dairy products when they are that young.
