Sure, it's 3 hours but so what? It never feels like three hours and the fight sequences are stunning!

This is a brilliant film but don't take my word for it. It has been remade twice that I know of. Once a s the classic western MAGNIFICENT SEVEN and again as cheesy science fiction BATTLE BEYOND THE SUN. The original story is strong enough to survive that kind of treatment it must have something going for it.

Absolutely. Akira Kurosawa created a great movie, and in my opinion, it is a classic.
