If a hospital says that they have delivery/recovery suites at an additional fee does that mean pregnancy medicaid will pay for that or will it have to come out of the pocket? thanks =)

sorry it says "private suites" i dont know if thats the same thing..

yup, if they're offering you a choice, it's probably going to cost more. You should check with your insurance what is covered because my insurance covered my private room. I did labor, birth, and recovery all in the same room. It was wonderful!

The hospitol has normal reconvery rooms that are perfectly fine and no medicaid will not pay for a private suite! Sorry, mommy of 2 and each time I had a normal suite, for how long you are there, its like staying at a hotel!

That will be out of pocket. The taxpayers do not need to pay for your luxury at the hospital.
