A service that could help them out from day to day. That could or would provide for them, etc.?

I don't know of any...but it sounds like a great idea for the future. As it stands now...lots of elderly are not online as high tech is not something the majority of them are familiar with.

Seniors with limited mobility or the otherwise homebound are eligible for the services of a home health aide or personal aide. These workers go to their houses for several hours a day, buy groceries, cook, do the laundry, provide for their personal hygiene, give medications, escort them to doctor's appointments, and more.

These services can not be performed online. Other services are readily available that make the lives of seniors or others that may be homebound or disabled easier.

For example FreshDirect lets you order groceries, or even prepared meals, online, and delivers it to your home. Laundries pick up, wash, fold, and return clothes. Netflix delivers movies and entertainment. Newspapers can be delivered to your door. Banking and bill paying can be done online. Pharmacies deliver or mail perscriptions.
