Blue Lagoon is definitely not for 14 year olds, sorry.

Good movies for that age is tough, because parents have different opinions as to what is acceptable. Here is a good list for starters:

Remember The Titans
Cinderella Story
13 Going On 30
She's The Man
Mean Girls
The Count Of Monte Cristo
Seabiscuit
Cinderella Man
Ghostbusters
Dirty Dancing
Grease
Gone In 60 Seconds
National Treasure
Tommy Boy
Happy Gilmore
Big Daddy
Sugar & Spice
Man Of The House (Tommy Lee Jones)
The Fugative
US Marshalls
Indiana Jones & the Raiders Of The Lost Ark.
The Right Stuff
The Truth About Charlie
10 Things I Hate About You

I love the outsiders. But try Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Breakfast Club, What's eating Gilbert Grape, Edward Sissorhands, The Coneheads, and Young Frankenstien.

Stand via me is between the superb movies ever made. A tale of friendship and suspense. The 6th experience is surely stable besides. it is a secret/horror yet no longer likely frightening, it is properly surely worth the watch nonetheless! Seven - has brad pitt, morgan freeman and kevin spacey. Pyscho - Hitchcock classic suspense action picture. Zodiac with Jake Gylenhaal, Mark Ruffallo and Robert Downey Jnr. Silence of the Lambs is surely stable and extremely frightening Michael Clayton, superb secret starring George Clooney
