I only have two, the two are: Randy Rhoads, and Slash.
It sucks the way Rhoads life was cut so short, since he was unbelievably good when it came to guitar. Guess the saying " the good die young" could describe him.

dude, slash started it all for me. coolest guitar player then and now. you came real close to my main guy though ZAKK F*CKING WYLDE! that guy is unbelievable. all i can say is rock on dude, you rock! great taste in guitarist.

Long list for me Dave Mustaine, Jerry Cantrell, Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, SRV, Slash, Iggy, Kurt Cobain, Randy Rhoads, Tom Morello, and my friend that got me to pick up the guitar was the biggest. He always told me just to always listen to the noises and music around you. It is amazing with a few extra notes what will talk to you. I think its better to sound like you than try your whole life to sound like someone else.

I was inspired to play guitar from Jimi Hendrix and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers guitarist. And of course loneliness

I agree with u on slash, but jimi hendrix and eric clapton also inspire me the most. Peter Frampton is also pretty good too.

I was 11 when the beatles came to the usa, they inspired me first.
then a very long list of others.
Go to youtube.com and do a search of Scotty Anderson, (and no, it's not me, but i wish). check out some of his videos. He is one fandamtastick picker.
