First I'm freezing cold and I can't stop shivering but I'm also sweating. The I'm hot but not sweating and I can't cool down. This last all night and my mind also keeps racing like I'm on something (which I'm not)

sounds like menopausal symptoms you are that age and female.

If you're a female around fifty it is definitely hot flashes. About three years ago I couldn't sleep all summer and it was terrible. Especially when I worked two jobs. I would be hot and I'd throw off all of the cover ,then I'd freeze and I'd cover up to my ears. My face would turn blood red all the way down my neck, and my heart would race. Thankfully it does go away.

It sounds like you might have a fever or be coming down with a virus or something.
