how can i share my itunes music with my family?

i know that there is a way to make a shared music file but how? my media teacher has his music shared so we can use it for our movies... all i want to know is how do i do that

in iTunes go to edit --> preferences ---> Shared tab, Click on share music and look for shared music. You can only do this if your home is set up as a home network. good luck!

ps, don't put your music in the shared music folder (if you are using windows xp), it is too much work when all you have to do is what i said above!

Go to iTunes music folder, the one where there is folders with the names of all the artists. hit control-a, then control-c. Go to my computer, go to shared documents, then shared music, then if there's not an itunes folder there, create a folder called "itunes". open the folder and hit control-v
