Yeech...what a situation...You may want to calmly sit down and talk to your ex-girlfriend about other living arrangements. Even though you are not together, you are still parents together, and you need to express your concerns in a clear, calm manner. Many times, when breakups are bad--or the aftermath is nasty--we are very defensive about talking to the ex. It is especially nasty when children are sometimes involved; so you may want to make arrangements to help financially until she is on her feet (that does not mean being a bank; put a timeline and everything in writing). If that doesn't work, express your reservations to your lawyer who handles the child support and child's welfare. Good luck and God bless.

If you don't want her to live there, help her pay her expenses so she doesn't have to. People make way too much out of things like that. I know a woman who cleaned out the car her daughter was viciously murdered in and drove it. Things like that don't bother some people. It does me, but not others. Just talk to her and she what kind of compromise you can come up with. But, if she needs to live there, let her do it. She doesn't answer to you any more.

No you are not out of line, and your ex is messed up in the head for wanting to bring her child to the scene of a vicious murder.

I don't blame you for not wanting you child to live there. Offer to help your wife pay off the legal bills if she will sign a paper saying she will never live there with your child. She shouldn't want to live there.

I'd be scared of the whole family if they are all that vicious, one of them might go nuts again. This mean you don't have custody are any say so about your child, right. You just have to sit back and take it, Wow, I be scared myself. even of the ex, they are crazy mixed up family. WHEW!!!!

That is some sick $hit....I wouldn't want my son around her family period. You should try to get custody of him....her family sounds really screwed up.

If that's all she can afford (regardless of the reason) why don't you help her find a more suitable place for her and your child?
