Sometimes my remedies for sinus headaches work and sometimes they dont. So far I have never had a sinus infection.

Peppermint essential oil in a hot bath or a candle-lit diffuser
Fenu-thyme pills (fenugreek and thyme)
Xlear nasal wash (it is pronounced clear, it has water, saline xylitol, and grapefruit seed extract in it)

Do any of you know of any other remedies I might add to this list. Every fall, winter, and spring I get sinus headaches everyday--up until this year. Thats when I begun the above regimen, Now I get them two-three times a week.

Any tips?

my daughter had a terrible time with sinus headaches and infections until i took her to the chiropracter. the vertabrea in her neck were mis aligned causing a back up of sinus fluids once she started getting a cold. the problem was caused by a traumatic birth, trying to be born face first. after the vertabrea were correctly aligned, no more sinus problems. took her when she was 6, she is now 23, still good..
also, put very hot water in a sink, make a tent from a towel, put head in tent, breathe deeply the hot steam..will clear head, just dont make the water so hot you burn your skin..
but, see a good chiropractor..
good luck

Note that the term Sinus refers to a hole in your head. That being said, instead of herbs, try balancing nostril flow through the following process: 1. Inhale deeply through your left nostril, covering your right. 2. Exhale completely through your right nostril, covering your left. 3. Inhale through your right nostril. 4. Switch nostrils and exhale through your left nostril. This technique comes from Hindu tradition. Additionally, try cleaning out your ears and placing one hand on your heart and the other on your head, to balance the bloodflow.

Be sure to take a good mulitvitamin and antioxidant supplement daily to keep your immune system healthy. If you are getting sinus headaches that often I would consider getting them checked by the doc though to be sure you don't have a sinus infection or sinusitis starting.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

Try colloidal silver - 10ppm. There is a specific brand that has the smallest silver particles made that is only 10ppm. If you use colloidal silver at a higher dosage consistently, it can turn your skin permanently gray. But at the 10ppm level, you are safe!
But at Health Food stores.
