there is an option near the search button of the Search for questions:
its Advance
go for advance and choose the option "Nicknames of Askers"

then search the user you want

use advanced search but that may not work too, what u can do is search the specific user u want to and the search results throw back results with pages having this person's username, open one of the pages (more recent the better) then click on this persons name and rech his/her profile, its quite simple

Search for questions

Click "advanced" next to the "search" button. Then select "user nick name" under neath the search box. Select any other criteria and click "search" at the bottom of the screen.

Great ideas! You always come up with good ones. Yahoo! should really hire you! :) I really like that Permalink idea. I'm always annoyed on the internet when I do a search & the website has expired. It's a complete waste of time.

You can't. You can only search them if they gave you their id
