You need a computer with a CD drive running iTunes. Start iTunes and load the CD into the drive. The album name should show up in the Library column be highlighted. The playlist of the CD will show up in the main section. The circle in the upper right corner will change to "Import CD". Click on this and all the tracks will be copied to your hard drive. Repeat this for as many CDs as you want. Create a new playlist by clicking on the "+" in the lower left corner of the iTunes window. Name it something like My iPod. Drag all the songs that you want to load into your iPod into that playlist. Then select the "My iPod" playlist. Connect your iPod to your computer by its USB or Firewire cable. Make sure it is on. An iPod icon should show up in your playlists column. Depending on how you have set up your preferences the iPod may try to update its playlists automatically. If it doesn't you can drag your custom playlist to the iPod icon.
