My tongue is amazing (but not in the same way as Gene Simmons').I have a geographic & fissured tongue (each of which occurs in less than 10% of the population): Geographic -parts of the tongue appear "raw", not exhibiting the typical rough surface (and these areas will go from one part of the tongue to another from time to time). Fissured -looks like the tongue was slashed with razor blades (sometimes appearing more like that than at other times). The combination is pretty amazing, IMHO.

Yes you can have surgery. They can cut that thing on the bottom of your tongue and it will be longer. They do that for people who have speech problems. I don't know if they would do it for that reason.

You could probably have the muscles and supporting tissue that support your toungue removed by surgery, but then your tongue would come whipping out uncontrollably when you speak - gross.

You can have surgery. You know now your tounge is attached to the bottom of your mouth? You can have that partially severed greatly increasing the length of your tounge.
