This afternoon I asked my wife to sell her car - she is NOT happy. Despite the fact that she worked and earned the money for the car, the money from the car's sale would go to me, which I would then spend on gin and gambling. She would take the bus or train as her means of transport in future. Is this really an objectionable plan? How can I deal with my wife's objections?

What an ungratefull 8itch . most women would be happy at doing that for the master of the house . when you got married did the vows not say something about gambling & gin being one of the first rules of a succesful marriage. good luck mate and put her in her place . all the best

certainly not.an objectionable plan is invading Iran or killing Saddam is objectionable, your Mrs should feel blessed she didn't marry a sh-- ite from Baghdad. In their culture it is a wife privilege to sell her belongings and give the proceeds to you as that is not enough she should sell your mother to support your upkeep and i know people in Afghanistan would queue up for the privilege. since you a gambling man, you would be on to a winner.....

You might try a compromise situation...........and sell your car, if you have one, to fuel your gin and gambling. That way she keeps her car and you keep funding your the g&g.

she is being very unreasonable
she needs a good kick up her ****
she is getting in the way of your pleasure
she married you to make sure you never lacked for anything
so why is she doing this now?
its not her, its the woman next door who put ideas in her head
don't let her mix with people
