I know its illegal to mail them or take them to another state but what about if you mail it within the same state as they were bought. Is it legal?

Some states have laws against cigarettes being bought online and shipped to other states by the companies. However, you personally can carry your own cigarettes, or can mail them.

what do you mean "illegal to take to another state" never heard of such a law. I have gone all over the states and taken mine with me....I even fly overseas every year with 2 cartons and go thru security and never had a problem with them..
btw...my husb belongs to a cigar club and gets his delivered by UPS every couple months...try them then

who are you mailing cigarettes to? i'm sure they can get their own unless they in prison.
