no doubt....when you want something bad enough you will find a way to get it ,will you not? The real issue here is will man and women be able to stand the test of time together? As women gain more and more power will they become the dominant race? Will society bare the brunt of more and more children being raised by single parents? Will the traditional family structure survive into the future? With parent's all ready working each with a full time job,and some working two jobs, how can there be the necessary parent child nurturing?Time will tell...no doubt.

Any one should be grateful to any body who ever went out of there way to assist Then to get ahead in this world. Did Your Father ever help You to get through college by paying for Your tuition? Did Your Husband ever work overtime so that You could enroll to do a course at night school? Did one individual Male teacher bother to go out of His way to advise You on the correct answer to a question? Did a Male employer ever once so much as offer to give You the chance to prove Yourself? For that matter, has any male ever done anything to help any female to make Her mark on society?Obviously not, or the radical feminists would not be complaining quite so loudly. Men have to make Their own way in life. Why shouldn't Women be made to do likewise? Because that would be gender specific repression.
Women "won" the vote in Britain, not from running out in front of racehorses, but rather because Parliament granted Them the right to vote as the result of the deaths of 18 men during the fire at St Paul's Cathedral, London. An act of arson initiated by a Feminist movement as a protest against "oppression". So in answer to Your question, Yes, men did help women to succeed, all too often without the thanks They so rightfully deserved.
I wonder how many politically incorrect anti male comments will be posted in answer to this question?

Clearly women have not succeeded in replacing the family. When women are truly able to be the better provider, no child support, no divorce industry. No mandatory Psychologist exams, no paternity test. Equal presumption of guilt at law. No Judicial discretion. Then I will start looking in singles bars for a "good provider".
What we have in todays "family courts" is neither family or court. Is family court a civil matter? Why do some of my heroes get probation for failure to pay for the abduction of their children, under the color of law? Clearly fatherhood is a crime.

Why do you think men were in such a rush to clone? Because before that women no longer had a need for men. We can reproduce, keep a few good males for their sperm only, freeze it and get rid of them. Invitro and Voila! the next generation has begun.
Left up to men and they would last till the end of this generation. Need I say more?

The question is would men have succeeded and be where they are today without women? The answer NO!!!!! But, to answer your question no we should not be thankful to men for being so piggish as to think that we are incapable of doing what they do. We are sometimes better at things then men are.

I see you really shook the tree here. Why ask a rhetorical question that you know the answer to? Gratitude can very well lead to resentment. So better you support equity because it is just, rather than only the largess of the powerful.

Only by the physique of men did they dominate but most ancient cultures appreciated women as the givers of life and many societies were ruled by matriarchs. Historically, women were subjugated by their position in sex but the womb was treasured as men sought to continue their seed. Victoria of England displayed the power of women both in leadership and fertility. The Empress of China...XiXi...displayed both strength and cold-bloodness. Thusly, women allowed men to rule but indeed they ruled the men.

Have you even heard of the hunter/gather society? This question in and of itself reassures me I don't need to be thankful for men for success. This sounds like middle management ignorance.
