Dear heaven above! I mainly wear 8 petite.
Girl,you've got 2 b a fab-u-lous size!
One of my bffs are close to it and she's 5'7"!
You might be like 5'6",5'7",5'8",or even 5'9"
and have an amazingly tiny waist! Girl,I mean,
I even wish I was a zero again! I miss that!
That's the luck nature's givin you!
I bet you have a fast metabolism too,girl!
I'm speechless!

If you compare with what the average size for American citizens is, 5 is probably very small (I'm assuming you means size 5 as in teen sizes). However, it's not so small that anyone would think you're really weirdly skinny. Think of it this way: if you translate the numbers in the traditional X-S, S, M, L, etc., 5 is an S size.

Technically size five is a medium. However since the average woman in the US wears a size 12 a five is actually pretty small to most. So 5 translates to a medium in retail but if you want to know how it looks, it looks more small than medium.

I wear a size 5 and people say that is small. You are far from big, especially when the sizeing is 0,1,3,5, and so on.

I'm size 5 and half the time I feel fat and half the time I feel thin. Just know that we're alot better off than some people. ; )
