Kudos to you!!! But is that ALL you said? You were way to kind to this shmuck! So, NO, you weren't wrong. Of course, ideally, the mature, dignified and 'proper' thing to do is to ignore people like this all together. However, I, personally, have had a close, long term"friend" do this to me. After 2nd,3rd chances, and "being dignified, the bigger woman", I finally let the b.... have it. It was unbelievably gratifying!!

This guy is screwing up his own life, by acting the way he does. What you did might sound funny, but it really serves no purpose.

You should also consider what such an act could do to your own reputation. Not everyone who knows what you did will necessarily be aware of your justification. Instead, they will just see you as a person who spreads malicious rumors.

No, it's hilarious, and from what you say it is well deserved. You shouldn't feel bad at all. Whether or not you intervene, karma will eventually play a hand and the jerk will get what's coming to him.

A little vindictive, I'd say. But some people have it coming to them.

haha... good one. Yeah it's mean but sounds like he deserves it. It was't s bad though.. it's easy to deny. He can just say that you're jealous of him so it wasn't so bad.

dunno if you are a bloke or a woman-- but it sounds like a feminine way of dealing with the situation. Its not wrong because, how you have described the person, they sound like a complete a*S*hole.but it is wrong because you have dealt your blow in a relatively weak manner.

Heehee...I think it's funny, clever and well-deserved. I'm assuming you mean that he was with a girl, and you said it about her.

I say, good job!
