im a pre-op female to male trans.but im on the hormones so i look..act and sound male...and im single...
im generally happy but i do get lonely...the friends i have are all in couples and they do include me in lots of things but i miss having a girlfriend (sometimes i dont tho ha ha ha)..
im finding that women in general cant get past the "body thing" they see me as a guy but in some ways they still see me as a woman cos i still have female parts..
are there any women out there that can deal with it??
and where are they???

I am sure there are genetic women out there who can deal with it, I have been following some posts of some trans guys who identify as gay males and some report having little trouble in finding gay guys who accept them as gay trans guys despite the lack of male genitalia - and some aren't even on T.

The Australian case Re Kevin was about the validity of a marriage between a post op FTM and a genetic woman and that was by all accounts a very happy marriage (They won their case too and Kevin was classified as a man for the purposes of the marriage Act. Point being there is at least one very public case of a highly successful FTM/woman relationship.

Have you tried the email groups such as TSNon-Op@yahoogroups.com; nogoingback@yahoogroups.com ; Transgender_Outreach@yahoogroups.com or any of the FTM web sites to discuss this issue? (Michael who runs Transgender_Outreach is a great guy.)

Also (hypothetical question) would you consider a relationship with a pre-op MTF who is on hormones - would you be able to relate to her as a woman? Could you get past her 'body thing'?

Do hope you find someone, the world is changing so fast I am sure things will improve generally for T people over the next few years.
Hope this has been of some help - I can sympathise with you as an MTF who likes girls too.

best wishes
Mimi

They're hard to find it seems. I'm going the opposite way and having much the same problem. Try to focus on other aspects of your life than the trans part and keep your eyes open. Maybe you'll get lucky and find someone.

Hi I run a TS support group which links with the F2M group where you can get the very advise, I have T guys as members, so I have no problem with our TS brothers.
